Hello! Vectorkids believes in enhancing education through technology. Our content is designed for elementary and middle school students. However, it is fun for all ages.

Who is vectorkids?

Rick Larson is the creator of vectorkids. Rick has been programming ever since he purchased his first Commodore VIC20. He is the the past president of the Bluegrass Chapter of the American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Refrigeration Engineers (ASHRAE). Rick holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. Favorite Science event: Rick was a Grand Awards Judge for the 2002 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Very Fun!)

Nick is a usability tester. Nick is a college student and avid gamer. Nick offers great suggestions for current and potential curriculum. He tests every vectorkids educational tool.

Lauren is a usability tester. Lauren is a middle school student. Lauren provides excellent feedback and offers her opinion frequently (even if you did not ask).

Chris Armstrong - Chris is the creator of CALogos and Maggie's Daddy Media. Chris created the vectorkids logo and the splash graphic for the fractions game. His feedback has been extremely helpful. Chris holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University.

Clyde Stroman - Clyde provides excellent feedback between rants of martial arts and music. Clyde holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Clyde is taking a sabbatical from engineering. He has successfully completed the intense "Senshusei" Aikido training program required by the Tokyo riot police. Clyde is currently teaching English in Tokyo and continuing his study of martial arts. From now on everyone at vectorkids is required to call him Sir.
